Murren is a lovely car-free mountain village near Interlaken, Switzerland. It is located on a cliffside overlooking a valley with 72 waterfalls, including Staubbachfall, the biggest waterfall in Switzerland, and provides stunning views of the surrounding Alps, including Jungfrau, Monch and Eiger. The lookout point at which this panorama was taken provides a great close look at the impressive mountain peaks. If you look closely, you can also identify a paraglider going down the valley - a very popular activity in this area.
As the town is car-free, it is also a lovely place to walk around and to absorb the stunning views and to look at the houses built in traditional Swiss architecture.
