Aerial view about 300' above Tennant, California, tucked in the middle of the woods.  The 2010 census registered 41 citizens & was known in its heydey for logging.  A former church existed here & public school & general store still rest in decay, boarded up after many years.

On August 1, 2021, the Antelope Fire started from a series of lightning strikes in the vicinity & by August 3, the citizens of Tennant had to be evacuated.  Fortunately almost all of the town was spared however the woods were burned all around.  The Antelope Fire spread rapidly to the northeast consuming 145,632 acres before it was fully contained on October 15, 2021.  This view 9.5 months later shows a much different scene compared to my aerial panorama as seen here taken May 2020: https://www.360cities.net/image/tenn
