Orbaneja del Castillo -Square-

The villa of Orbaneja is located on the left bank of the Ebro river. Here flows through a narrow canyon which runs through the region of Valderredible (Cantabria) and 'Hoces of Alto Ebro y Rudrón' (Burgos).

It has been declared of cultural interest by category of Historical Set in the year 1993.

Here lived Christians, Mozarabic people from Al-Andalus and Jews as some of names of its streets remind us.

A stream that rises in the cave of Covalagua located in the limestone cliff that  can be seen ahead flows across the main square.

The location of the villa and its architectural and landscape wealth make of it a very visited place by cultural tourism and nature's lovers.
