Cahir Castle and park, Tipperary county, Ireland

Fantastic original castle placed on the river Suir's shore, its origin is calculated on the beginning of the XIII century, it was modified during XV and XVI centuries under family Butler's government on the county, and that's the image actually shares with us.

It deserves the visit a lot and the village where is placed is interesting enough as well.

The castle was used as scenery in John Boorman's film "Excalibur".
