Romsey Abbey with Saint Swithun’s, Hampshire
Before the dissolution of all the monasteries Romsey Abbey was a Benedictine nunnery. Since that time is has been, and still is, the main church in the market town of Romsey. The architecture is simply stunning and steeped in history, which makes it a must see on a visit to this quaint market town.
