Our family took a day trip from Sun Club in Djerba to the dunes of the Sahara Desert. We took a ride on dromadairs to this unique grove of palm trees. The sand is incredibly fine to the touch. It was late January 2011 a few days before tourists were asked to leave Tunisia because of the Facebook revolution.
