Sears Point Petroglyphs, AZ

Along the Gia River in Arizona a volcanic basalt outcrop is the home of hundreds of petroglyphs. The area was used by the Indigenous people since 500 CE to the 1800s. This site was also used by Spanish explorers and people heading for California including the Butterfield Overland route.
