St Lawrence's Church, West Wycombe
Whilst St Lawrence's Church has medieval origins, what stands today on West Wycombe Hill was greatly be remodelled by Sir Francis Dashwood in the 1750’s. The most novel feature being the great golden sphere upon the summit of the tower. Here it is reputed gathered the Hellfire Club. The Globe could seat 10. The Dashwood Mausoleum can be seen a little way to the east.
