Equestrian statue of General José de San Martin, Boulogne-sur-Mer

The equestrian statue of General José de San Martin is located near the national center of the sea Nausicaa and the fine sandy beach of Boulogne-sur-Mer.

José de San Martín is an Argentine general and statesman born February 25, 1778 in Yapeyú in Argentina and died in France in Boulogne-sur-Mer on August 17, 1850. With Simón Bolívar and Bernardo O'Higgins, he is one of the heroes of South American independence.
