The Grave of William Adamson, Carrollton, Georgia
The grave of William Charles Adamson in the Carrollton, GA City Cemetary, who served Georgia’s 4th District in the US House of Representatives from 1897 to 1917. He is often referred to as the “Father” of the 8 hour workday after pushing through the Adamson Act which President Woodrow Wilson signed into law on September 3, 1916.
