The shoreline near Ballycarbery Castle, County Cork
Ireland

Situated on private farm land, Ballycarbery Castle is the abandoned ruin of a 16th century stronghold built by McCarthy Mor, one of Ireland's greatest medieval dynasties. It was all but destroyed by Oliver Cromwell's forces in 1652.
