A group panorama of some of the IVRPA Iceland 2013 attendees gathered around one of the many small and huge cracks in the ground. The North American and Eurasian Plates meet here in a rift valley called Thingvellir which is located in Þingvellir National Park. As you will notice, the fertile volcanic landscape here sprouts all kinds of rock moss and plant life. Þingvellir is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The overcast and cloudy weather gave us a blank sky with little to show except for Aryton's new Nodal Ninja's Fanotec 2-section carbon-fiber Traveler Pole. I think it's cheaper than stacking two Gitzo monopods and looks better too.
Also check out how the look and feel of this 360 panorama in a Stereographic or Little Planet projection by right-clicking in the browser window and choosing another view. Having fun yet? And check out some of the wacky camera gear on display here.
