Hidden Valley is located at the southern end of Lava Beds National Monument near Tulelake, California.  It is opposite the road from nearby Mammoth Crater.  The lava depression houses a forest of ponderosa pine that has appeared to have avoided getting burned from the Antelope Fire that had passed through the area in September 2021, burning 145,632 acres.
