The Torridon Hills offer some of the most dramatic mountain scenery in the entire British Isles. The ancient wilderness of water and rocks has some of the oldest mountains in the world. Those formed of Torridonian sandstone were formed 750 million years ago, while other parts of the landscape date back 2.6 billion years.
