Lago di Tovel is an alpine lake located in the Val di Tovel, at an altitude of 1177 m above sea level and within the Adamello-Brenta Natural Park.
It has also been called red lake due to the reddening of its waters, which occurred until 1964 due to the action of an algae (Tovellia sanguinea).
