Blythburgh Church

The Great Church of a busy port in the XVth century which has now almost dissapeared.

The Church was rescued from near ruin in the XXth century but keeps wonderful angels on its roof, fine carvings along the south roof and a glorious font.

The remaining pews have fine carvings (poppyheads) of animals and people. There is more glass than wall and the light floods down on the brick floor and the open space inside.
