When people learned of planned demolition of the Military Dependents Village in Zuoying District, Zizhu Xincun, young people went to the village and expressed their feelings by painting graffiti on the walls of the village houses. Most residents had already moved out, and the graffiti gave the village a new look, making it an attraction for tourists.
