The image is taken early in the morning in the middle of the "Aleko" ski center "square" near the Mountain Rescue Service and "Aleko" hut, currently facing the red ski run "Stenata" (i.e. "The Wall"). On the area, where "Stenata" ski run ends there is a baby-lift where the future lovers of snow sports are being taught. The ski zone "Aleko" is the oldest one in Bulgaria and the most visited one in Vitosha mountain. The altitude is 1800 m. The ski slopes of Vitosha are various and suitable for skiers and snowboarders of different skills - beginners, intermediate and advanced. Vitosha mountain offers six ski runs of varying difficulty and length - green is the easiest one and "Vitosha Tulip 2" is the hardest. The ski runs have the necessary facilities: several chairlifts and lifts, one gondola, starting from the outskirts of Sofia and reaching almost to the top of the mountain - "Cherni Vrah"(i.e. "Black Peak").
