Alvao, Natural Park, Senhora da Graca Sanctuary, Vila Real
Portugal

Monte Farinha (or Farinho) is a mountain in the district of Vila Real, with an altitude of 947 meters, topographic prominence of 147 meters. At its top, known as Alto da Senhora da Graça, is located the Sanctuary of Nossa Senhora da Graça and the village of Mondim de Basto is located at its foot.

At the top of the hill there may have once been the city of Cinínia, where the Tamecan tribe pontificated, before the Roman legions under the command of the consul Tenth Junius Brutus invaded and conquered all these lands in the 2nd century BC, forcing the mountain tribes to move to the lowlands.
