Situated on Falls Creek Lake within Callaway Gardens, the Callaway Brothers Azalea Bowl has over 3000 azaleas that put on a spectacular show of color in the spring.  The Bowl is one of several azalea gardens throughout the larger park.  Also on display are many flowering shrubs and trees.

When this photo was taken, the azaleas were just getting started.  You can see some have not opened yet.  When the bloom is at its peak, the forest is aglow in shades of white, red and pink.
