This panorama opens looking nearly due east. The view is down the South Canyon complex which consists of Bedrock Canyon and South Canyon. Bedrock Canyon, entering the complex on the left, is a shorter spur which descends into the much longer, and larger, South Canyon. After joining together, they both flow eastward into the Colorado River not far above Stanton’s Cave, Vasey’s Paradise, and Redwall Cavern.
