In decades past, particularly the 1980s, the Idaho panhandle has been a hideout for far-right ideology. This view shows the grave of Richard Girnt Butler, founder of the Aryan Nations hate group in the 1970s. In 2001, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) classified Aryan Nations as a "terrorist threat." In a review of terrorist organizations, the RAND Corporation called it the "first truly nationwide terrorist network" in the United States and Canada. Following Butler's death in 2004, the group is now defunct & the compound has been destroyed & ridden of physical memory though offshoots of the group have manifested throughout US prison gangs & elsewhere around the country.

Idaho is a state located in the northwestern region of the United States of America. Idaho also hosts the largest barrel cheese factory in the world, producing 120K metric tons of cheese per year. There is some ambiguity as to where the name "Idaho" came from, but it is generally believed to have simply been made up by George M. Willing. There is a possibility it was derived from a Native American phrase. Idaho is very mountainous and is a popular outing destination of the outdoorsman.
