The medieval town of Pézenas, located 30 minutes north and east of Béziers and 30 minutes north of Agde on the mediterranean, is a vibrant community. Everyone from farmers, business people, small shopkeepers, artists, and artisans combine together to form a thoroughly enjoyable village for wandering and exploring.
Some connections to historical people of interest include the playright Molière, and Gabriel François Venel, the inventor of seltzer water. However, where Pézenas really shines is discovering the artists and artisans around each corner.

Languedoc-Roussillon is a French region which is composed of five departments. It is bounded by Spain, Andorra in the south and along the Mediterranean Sea (Gulf of Lions).
