Here you can rent a place for the season and commute by car, ferry or aeroplane. Ferry connections with both Gothenburg and Varberg. Landvetter airport is one hour?s drive away. The marina is conveniently situated close to excellent bathing with sandy beaches, suitable for children, and fantastic rambling areas in the nearby nature reserve. If you are a keen fisherman, you are welcome to come on a sea-fishing tour to the North Sea. In the summer the boat departs daily. Lerkil harbour received a blue flag in 1998 and 1999. Harbour services: Within the harbour area are a mast hoist and a fuel station, a boatyard where you can repair and service your boat, a small self-service shop and a cafe. Sockets are available on each landing stage and there are 5 fresh water taps. Harbour depth 2.3-3 m. Other services: toilets, showers, washing machine, tumble-drier and drying cabinet. Food shop approx. 2 km from the harbour. Bus connection with Kungsbacka and Gothenburg immediately outside the harbour area. From Kungsbacka the commuter train takes you to Gothenburg city centre.
