Part way up the Lost Mine Trail in the Chisos Mountains located in Big Bend National Park is a relatively flat spot on a small saddle between drainages. This small saddle is a great place to take a short rest on the hike. The view is great in all directions. I thought the early morning sun shining on the most prominent peaks was a gorgeous sight so I took the time to capture the beauty. The closest vertical cliff faces belong to a peak called Casa Grande.
