This is the real Mondmilchgubel also named Momilchgubel. Quite often the Brandenfels, which is 500 meters further north, is mistaken with the Mondmilchgubel. But this is the real Mondmilchgubel as it is marked on some maps.
Mondmilch in English means moonmilk and gubel is Zürcher Oberland Swiss German and in English it means rockformation. Mondmilch is the name for a Calcit sedimentation which is white, milky and glittering.
There exists a tale about this Mondmilchgubel, it's called "Die weisse (or schöne) Frau vom Mondmilchgubel" sometimes named "Die Sage vom Venedigermandli". Just google it and you will find the story.
And it also exists a novel named "Mondmilchgubel" from Mona Bodenmann. But the scene of crime in this story takes place at the Brandenfels, and not at the Mondmilchgubel. But as I wrote above, the Mondmilchgubel and the Brandenfels are often mixed.
