Place de la Comédie Monpellier
Languedoc-Roussillon

Auf der Rückreise von den Ferien in Spanien machten wir einen kleinen Abstecher nach Montpellier in Frankreich. Wir stellten unser Auto in eine Tiefgarage, direkt neben den oberen Eingang in die Altstadt, im 5. Untergeschoss, glaube ich. Nach einem kleinen Imbiss und der Besichtigung der Altstadt, kamen wir auf diesen Platz. Ich vergass die Unterlage zum Nodalpunktadapter mitzunehmen. Doch mit Hilfe eines Papiertaschentuches hoffte ich, die missliche Situation zu retten, das, wie man sieht, auch gelang. Wieder in der Tiefgarage angekommen, wollte der Ticketautomat

weder Noten noch Kreditkarten akzeptieren. Da unser Kleingeld nicht ausreichte, kamen wir nicht aus der Garage raus. Ein freundlicher Franzose streckte uns eine handvoll Euro entgegen und sagte, "thake as much as you need". Wow

More About Languedoc-Roussillon

Languedoc-Roussillon is a French region which is composed of five departments. It is bounded by Spain, Andorra in the south and along the Mediterranean Sea (Gulf of Lions). Other French region limit the regions of Languedoc-Roussillon: Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur, Rhone-Alpes, Auvergne, Midi-Pyrenees. The natural boundaries are the Pyrenees and the so-called threshold Lauragais, the Cévennes and the Rhône.In 2004, the Regional Council chose a joint new logo symbolizes the sun, which has the motto: "Living in Septimania. In fact, the current president of the Regional Council, Georges Freche wanted to rename the area "Septimania", but then it has to do so.
