Tama

Takiyama castle was said to be built  in the Warring period in Japan on this moutain area in 1521.  This castle was used till about 1570.  Today we cannot see any building ruins of the castle but some earthen walls or a well. This area is famous for the many (about 5 thousand) trees of Sakura.  The place in the photo is surrounded by U-shaped hill with full of Sakura.   People are enjoying to see the blossoms and kids are playing under the tree.
