Santiago de Compostela - Cathedral Main Facade
Northern Spain

Seen from the Praza de Obradorio this is the target of all the pilgrims on their pilgrimage to Santiago. The cathedral of Santiago where they have been waiting for so long on their travel over days, weeks or even months. A lot of them are resting on the plaza admireing the huge building. The build of that cathedral started back in 1077 and was expanded over the years. Originally about 8000 m² big all its expansions almost tripple it now to about 23000 m².
