Spectra Point in Cedar Breaks: a very old tree and a nice backgroud
Utah

A beautiful landscape in Cedar Break, on the Ramparts trail (a must!). This tree is almost 2000 year old (I can believe this). Quite decent as a foreground! I was delighted to get these nice clouds. They are surprisingly common in the Western part of the USA, and certainly welcome!

The hike was a bit tenuous because of the heat, even though patches snow were left in the forest! -- This place is high (3000m/10000ft!).

All in one, it gives a lasting and very contrasted experience.
