Photographers Notes:
My first day on Shetland. I arrived at about 7 o’clock in the morning. Lerwick, the biggest town on the island. It impressed me how busy this place was, yet of
course, it was Monday morning and the traffic for people going to work, plus the ferry traffic, it all made sense, but I just expected something a bit more
sleepy.
I rode North aiming for the most Northerly point in the UK. The weather was good, so I relaxed a bit while waiting for the ferry. I ended up waiting about 3
hours for the ferry and missing about 6 of them, every time thinking…. Not to worry… I’ll get the next one…
