This image was taken from Dry Mesa on the rim of Woodenshoe Canyon in the Dark Canyon Wilderness Area, Utah, USA. The view is down a small finger canyon leading to the main Woodenshoe Canyon. Woodenshoe joins Dark Canyon further west (not in this image), the canyon for which the Wilderness Area is named.
