Foresthill Bridge
California

At 730 feet in height, the Foresthill Bridge outside Auburn, California is the highest bridge in the state & fourth highest in the United States.  It was originally built to accommodate the proposed Auburn Dam which would've created a lake from the American River, however it was never completed.  Today one can park & hike the surrounding trails around and below it.  Similar to the Golden Gate Bridge, the bridge's tall height has made it popular for suicides.
