This is the so called Beulé Gate (discovered by the French archaeologist Ernest Beulé) driving to the Propylaea of the Acropolis of Athens. It is said that this Gate is today’s entry to the Acropolis. But instead, it is usually used as exit of the visitors, entering the Propylaea sideways coming from the Odeon of Herodes Attikus
