The Bahnhofplatz (Train Station Plaza) is located in the city centre of Bern. The church illuminated by the sunset light is the Heiliggeistkirche (Church of the Holy Spirit).

On its left side you can see the Schweizerhof, a 5-star luxury hotel.

The baldachin on the right-hand side of the church has a size of 2500 square meter and was finished a few weeks before the UEFA Euro 2008.

The building on the other side of the pedestrian crossing is the railway station of Bern.
