This is one of Bath's hidden treasures, mainly hidden by the road by the trees. If you're fit, poor (the bus fare is one of the most expensive in the civilised world) or foolhardy enough to walk up the hill to Prior Park Gardens, cross the road and go along the pavement in front of the houses - it's public.

The terrace was built in the early 19th Century to accommodate the growing numbers of the middle classes moving to Bath.
