Taken 5/29/2015 on the Baxter Pass trail. This trail experienced a fire in 2007 and a flood in 2008 that cleared much of the larger trees and vegetation near Oak Creek, along which the trail runs. This clearing allows for great vistas up toward the Diamond Peak massif, to stand on the summit of which was the objective of our trip.
