Stanmer Park
Brighton-Hove
Stanmer Park is one of the larger parks in Brighton, in fact it actually has its own House, Church and village! The Church and House are visible in the panorama and the village lies behind the church. A bus service runs from the city centre into and around the park itself. The park runs alongside Sussex University and its southern end is adjacent to the A27, although road access to the park is via Lewis Road which joins the A27 beside the park. The park is ideal for picnics and a good starting point not only for walks within the park itself but also longer circular routes up onto the South Downs.
