Camillo Benso, Count of Cavour
Turin

Turin citizens gather around the new statue of Camillo Benso Count of Cavour (1810-1861), made by sculptor Fabio Viale in white Carrara marble, inaugurated by Giorgio Napolitano, President of the Italian Republic on march 18th, 2011.

The writing on the flag says: "Mr. President, don't let the cradle of art become its grave", in controversy against the recent governative cuts to culture global budget.
