长春大学是吉林省省属全日制综合性大学，现有20个教学院部，49个本科专业，涵盖文、理、工、农、法、医、管理、经济、教育9大学科门类。学校坐落在北国春城长春市，现有三个校区，校园总占地面积112.9万平方米。本部校区位于人民大街与卫星路交汇处，占地31.8万平方米；西校区地处卫星路西端，占地9.96万平方米；东校区位于山水相映的莲花山旅游风景区，占地71.13万平方米。学校在2006年国家本科教学工作水平评估中获得"优秀"成绩。2009年顺利成为硕士学位授权立项建设单位。
