This photo was taken 7/23/2015 during a 5-day trek through the Sierra Nevada. I spent more time than I thought I would at this lake, even considering that I knew Precipice Lake was one of famed photographer Ansel Adams' favorite places to take pictures. The changing landscape of the day yielded vastly different characteristics of the water color and density, and I couldn't help myself from taking countless snapshots of the changing personality of this iconic lake.
