Djupafors
Sweden

Djupafors was originally an approximately 11m high waterfall. In 1868 a paper mill was built and the stream was built out. Just above the waterfall lies the Djupafors rift that forces together Ronneby stream to a width of only 1.5 meters.

The panorama is taken at a time when water levels in Ronneby stream is quite low, during spring floods the floodgates are open wide and the stream is filled with broken water.
