Baking coffee and cocoa in a rural farm, Dominican Republic
Dominican Republic

Baking coffee and cocoa in a rural farm in Dominican Republic in a summer afternoon. The eco-tour took us a to a Dominical family farm for coffee and cocoa in the outskirts of the mountain. We were shown how cocoa and coffee is grown on the trees,  picked up by women (the locals say it is a non-men job) when the time comes. After some other steps, it ends up in the fireplace for baking. The panorama shows the final before-sale step when baking takes place.
