Green Corridor
Kaohsiung

The Green Corridor extends westward from the True Love Pier in Wufu Road to Sizihwan, a length of about 1.5 km. It successfully links tourist attractions such as Banana Wharf, Fisherman's Wharf and Hamasen, plus the Port of Kaohsiung. Completed in March 2012, the Green Corridor includes early local industries. For example, the "Coastal Bamboo Field" has bamboo and saltpan images that depict the local history.

The corridor is also hailed as a "Quiet Revolution," since it not only gives the city a new image but also positions the neighboring Pier 2 as the core of the cultural and creative industries with a promising future.
