One of the the amazing things about living in Japan as a foreigner is experiencing the culture..i have lived in Japan for about 8 years now and i am still surprised and amazed at what i experience. Compared to my native country Australia culturally we are worlds apart.
This pano was shot at a COSPLAY festival at Toyako in Hokkaido. Cosplay is a Japanese hobby were by participants dress up in their favorite Manga or computer game characters and hang out together...have parties or whatever.
The usually staid demenours are shed and it's time to have fun in make believe fantasy roleplay.
Pretty cool. Not sure what these gals characters were but they looked good ! Some of the cars are elaborately painted. Niiiiiice
