Inside Dunblane Cathedral, Perthshire
Scotland

Dunblane Cathedral lies close to the main route between Stirling and Perth. It dates back to the 12th century and is one of Scotland’s few surviving medieval churches. The free-standing red sandstone tower is the oldest remaining part. Curiously it stands at a slight angle to the rest of the church, which was a later addition. The ruined nave was restored in the late 19th century.

A late claim to fame is as the place where the locally-born tennis player, Andy Murray was married.
