Isle of Skye - Duntulm Castle
Scotland
Skye is the largest island of the Inner Hebrides. Duntulm Castle was built in the 15th century on the site of much older fortification – possible from prehistoric times. In the early 18th century the castle was given up – some of the stones were used as material for a nearby residence. The ruins are not secured – so the process of decay is still going on.
