On the banks of the River "Main" lies "Kitzingen", one of the oldest cities in Lower Franconia. The historic center of Kitzingen is located west of the river, the district of "Etwashausen" and the industrial areas are located east. The panorama was created on the western bank of the river between the Konrad-Adenauer-Bridge and the Pipinsbrücke (also called Old Main Bridge) at the height of the synagogue.
