Lauf an der Pegnitz - At the Pegnitz bridge
Franconie

Lauf an der Pegnitz is a town in the central Franconian part of the Franconian Switzerland. We are here below the castle island, at the place of the Pegnitz, where already in the 13th century mills had settled. Around the year 1464, four grinding mills, four sawmills, two cutter mills and twelve hammers were operated. In the industrial museum you can still visit a grinding mill and a hammer mill today.
