The marketplace is the jewel of the town Miltenberg. Amidst the marketplace, which is bounded by several half-timbered houses, is the market fountain. In 1583, Michael Junker created the fountain of red sandstone. Today the fountain is one of the most beautiful Renaissance monuments in the city.
